Classing discussion
Well since Jeff started to ignore us on Facebook I decided to start this one here What class does a lightened flywheel put me in Jeff? Is that under engine mods and therefore ASP or SM or is it just drivetrain stuff like gears and leave me in STX?

Jeff, would R compounds change what class I'm in? Answer my incessant questions or post up your list of classing stuff I've been checking out Autox.net and it seems that you're going by different rules than theirs.

Re: Classing discussion
sorry ben my computer got a virus so im just know getting back on. yes i vary the rules a little bit then NORAs just about every autox club modifies the rules to how they see fit.
R- compounds do not change your class you can even run them in stock class! however. r compounds are designed to be run at there maximum as. they get sticker as they heat up! You are a novice i would not recommend r-comps you quite havent gotten to the point were you drive your Z at its fullest. therefore while you may be able to get them to heat up, your not skilled enough to maintain the heat!. Just an fyi. Im 24, Ive been AutoXing since i was 16 and road racing/time trial since 18, and just last season felt skilled enough to use R-comps!
